Thankfully one of our moderators was quick to deal with the issue. I have also noticed that our spam service key isn't working for whatever reason so I will be contacting IPS immediately to get this resolved. That should keep spammers at bay. However, there may be some that aren't registered with the official system that register at some point - nothing is ever 100%. 

 

Moderators and administrators, in the future, please go to a spammer's profile page and select the "Flag as Spammer" button. This feature will immediately hide all of the spammer's posts (for which there may be too many to manually go through) and will prevent the spammer from posting anything further. The most important thing though, this feature reports the account back to the IPS spam service database to prevent it from re-registering on this, and other communities. Thank you. :)

LOTRO is free to play but with much less restriction than say, SWTORs F2P model.  If you care to take a look goto:

We are starting a Kinship on Landroval server.  This is an RP server.  Character names must be in the spirit of the RP server.  You don't have to RP but there will be no dive bombing RPers from the top of Mount Doom.  (elder SWTOR guildies will get the reference).

As much as I hate to say it again, I just can't get back into SWTOR.  The game is thriving and we're on a great server, but for whatever reason there is nothing compelling me to play the game.  Secondly, our SWTOR Wednesdays were very light in participation.  In the end, I don't see myself playing SWTOR, unless I feel an urge to play the expansion.  That said, there are plenty of people playing SWTOR with Jaren, Dycord, Phil, Mayan and Dominicus still involved. So SWTOR is not a dead option for the guild.  We also have an Alliance with a great Imp guild called The Secret Council who has 30 players on at almost any time.  Let me know if you need a contact to get an invite.  

In re: to SWTOR I also have a bank full of Cartel goods I can part with.  Send me a tell or grab me in Teamspeak if interested.

The Secret World Mondays are still a go and we have high participation every Monday night.  It's a fantastic MMO and quite possibly the deepest in the genre.  Now that TSW is F2P I would urge everyone to at least give it a try.  The dark themes are definitely not for everyone.

I will still be playing Guild Wars 2 casually, and we still have a strong contingent in the game.  I don't know why GW2 has not grabbed me like it has Cupcake and DoubleUnder and Musei to name a few but it hasn't.  The game is brilliant in many ways but I think the story just doesn't have the hook that I personally need as an MMO player to be invested.  Again GW2 continues to be our main guild game at the moment.

Anyway since we had so many in LOTRO Wed. night (7) which was unexpected I felt it was necessary to make an official post.  For me personally this will be my main MMO until Elder Scrolls rolls around possibly later this year.
